It is known for its unusual landforms and is one of the most impressive karst landscapes in Europe. \n\nThe area was designated a Natural Site of National Interest in July 1929 and in October 1978 it became a Natural Park Reserve covering around 17 square kilometers. \n\nDuring this trip we will do a hike in the natural area of El Torcal. Don´t be alarmed\, the hike will not be difficult.
