Actividad de ecoturismo dirigida a los visitantes que quieran introducirse en el fantástico mundo de los Hongos, nos acercaremos a la naturaleza para vivir de modo experiencial una aventura sostenible y responsable con el medio ambiente. De la mano de un guía micológico tendremos la suerte de poder identificar especies, conocer sus cualidades y sus usos populares. Para ello cogeremos senderos marcados y campo a través. El transporte es gratis.
La Sierra Norte de Sevilla, es sin duda un lugar privilegiado para la recogida de setas, por la diversidad de sus hábitats y bosques de quercineas, pináceas, bosque fluviales… En está actividad practicaremos el senderismo a la vez que recogeremos una gran variedad de setas. La parte final de la actividad es opcional y consistirá en preparar las setas que recolectemos en diferentes recetas en la casa de los organizadores por lo que podremos disfrutar de un buen manjar.

– Introducción a la micología en campo.
– Identificación y Recolección de Setas.
– Manipulación y Usos.

We will learn the different mushroom species that grow in the forests in our territory. We will visit follow diferent paths and we will cross country, enjoying the great diversity of species. We will learn to identify the mushrooms that we pick up and we learn their etnographic use.
We will decide the location on the same week, depending on the weather, as mushroom season is getting more erratic but the most probably is that we will go to Sierra Norte where we can find a high variety of different type of ecosistems. The transport is for free.
There’s an old saying among botanists: If you take a walk in the woods with a botanist, you’ll never get where you’re going. Botanists, you see, like to stop and look at every plant along the way. The same could be said for a walk with a mushroom expert. They look under what seems like every fallen leaf, inspect every downed mossy log, stare into any hollowed trunk of any standing tree and constantly gaze toward the tree canopy. They know these are the most likely places to find mushrooms. Which is to say a mushroom expert can find a mushroom almost anywhere in a hardwood forest. (There is one notable difference between a walk with a botanist and one with the mushroom expert: The mushroom expert can teach survival skills that will come in handy if you ever find yourself lost in the Woods, hahaha.)
After our pick up activity we will have the option to cook them following different récipe and we will taste different in different dishes. The gathering will be held at the home of organizers.
